I went home last weekend for the relief society broadcast. My mom's ward had tickets to go to the conference center. Apparently someone forgot to order like 135 tickets and ours was of course the ones that were forgotten. I went home anyway and hung out with the family and went to the broadcast with my mom and sisters at the stake center. It was a great conference. On Sunday, Mom, Kim, and I went up Snake Creek to take pictures in the fall leaves. It was so pretty up there and we got some great pictures! We ended up being like 20 mins late to church, but had a great time just being with each other. It was kind of a sad weekend for Katie because Chisium left on mission on Wednesday and this was the last weekend Katie would be able to see him. I felt so bad for her, you could tell that she wanted to cry the whole car ride back to St. George. And ya'll know something is wrong if happy-go-lucky Katie is sad and hardly talks for about 4 hours. So she didn't hang out with us much cause she was getting her fill of Chisium so she can last two years with out him. So if you see Katie, say Hi or invite her to do something fun with you!
Im glad you got a blog!! You will need to check ours out. But you forgot the most important of this week was seeing your favorite cousin and aunt!!!
ReplyDeletejen, i love it and am oh-so-proud that i had an influence of convincing you to blog. i'm sure you'll realize soon that it's awesome, especially just as a journal. i love looking back and seeing that, on yea...i do have a life beyond teeth.
